Terms of Use

Effective Date: July 1, 2026. Last Updated: July 1, 2026. These terms explain how Scholar Current is intended to be used.

Using the platform

Access and availability

Products, plans, and features can change as Scholar Current evolves. Access to the protected book, practicer, teacher tools, and direct learner products depends on the entitlements attached to the account or class.

Teacher class purchases and school-owned purchases may use yearly terms, product selections, student-seat limits, pooled school seats, renewal status, and class-level access records. Access may be pending, active, in renewal grace, expired, suspended, or inactive depending on payment, renewal, administrative approval, or school authorization status.

Schools are responsible for assigning school-owned access to authorized teachers and classes, purchasing enough seats for the intended student use, and designating only appropriate academic admins for student-record access.

This page is a concise operational terms summary for launch-stage use. It can be replaced later with a fuller legal terms document when needed.

Copyright and protected content

All Scholar Current textbook content, practice questions, simulations, graphics, videos, software, page designs, section-builder outputs, question banks, and related instructional materials are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. They may not be copied, redistributed, resold, publicly posted, scraped, reverse engineered, or used to create competing datasets or services except as expressly permitted by a Scholar Current license, written permission, or applicable law.

Teachers, students, schools, homeschool educators, and independent learners may use protected content only for the educational access they have purchased, received, or been assigned. Downloading or exporting content does not transfer ownership of Scholar Current materials.

Governing law and venue

Unless a separate signed school, district, university, or enterprise agreement says otherwise, these terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding related to these terms should be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Georgia, unless applicable law or a signed agreement requires a different forum.

If Scholar Current later adopts arbitration, mediation, or other dispute-resolution procedures, those procedures will be described in an updated Terms of Use or in the applicable signed agreement.
